Informacje ogólne - czym ta choroba jest i skąd się bierze

Szkarlatyna, jak potocznie nazywa się płonicę, jest zakaźną chorobą bakteryjną, głównie wieku dziecięcego, wywoływaną przez paciorkowce z grupy A. Zakażenia tą grupą paciorkowców to najczęstsze zakażenia u dzieci, w tym sensie wymagające szczególnej czujności, iż mogą one po ostrym okresie choroby pozostawić stan nosicielstwa, jak i długotrwałe następstwa w postaci mniej lub bardziej ciężkich i niebezpiecznych dla zdrowia powikłań.

Szkarlatyna, dawniej bardzo groźna dla chorego, niejednokrotnie śmiertelna, dziś nie stanowiąca większego problemu terapeutycznego, wciąż jeszcze pozostaje chorobą występującą stosunkowo powszechnie, szczególnie wśród dzieci. Szczyt zachorowań przypada na miesiące jesienne i zimowe, wtedy odnotowuje się największa liczbę nowych infekcji. W ostatnich latach zapadalność na płonicę jest coraz niższa, choruje coraz mniej osób w porównaniu z poprzednim dziesięcioleciem.

Postawienie szybkiej i trafnej diagnozy w przypadku szkarlatyny jest niezwykle istotne, gdyż musi ona być bezwzględnie leczona antybiotykami - taka terapia bowiem pozwala na uniknięcie groźnych powikłań ze strony takich narządów wewnętrznych, jak nerki, stawy i serce oraz umożliwia pełny powrót do zdrowia.

witam mój syn właśnie przechodzi szkarlatynę.Na początku myślałam, że ma jakieś uczulenie na płyny do prania ale po wizycie u lekarza okazało się że to właśnie ta choroba.mam jednak pytanie czy w trakcie tej choroby można dziecko kąpać.pozdrawiam

Mam właśnie szkarlatyne Bąbelki pojawiają się na dłoniach i na języku .Na języku zostają nie które bąbelki jak blizny.Miałam już .Szkarlatyne z 6 razy .Trochę to nie przyjemne ponieważ, na dłoniach schodzi skóra i swędzi ;( Niestety tym którzy są chorzy życzę zdrówka , to ciężka choroba może tylko dla mnie niewiem...

moje dwu i pół letnie dziecko właśnie dostało szkarlatyny. Pierwsze dwa dni miał gorączkę koło 39 stopni której nie dało sie za bardzo zbić. Wczoraj byłam u lekarza i od razu antybiotyk.

Już wiem : Zakażenie przenosi się drogą kropelkową, nie jest konieczny nawet bezpośredni kontakt z chorym, gdyż można zarazić się również przez używanego przez niego rzeczy, w tym odzież, ręczniki, bieliznę pościelową czy inne osobiste przedmioty codziennego użytku.

Tegoroczna zima dała się we znaki. Ludzie chorują na wszystkie tego typu choroby z częstotliwością kilkakrotnie razy większą niż w latach poprzednich. Ja wyszedłem z choroby po trzech miesiącach. Dopadły mnie różnorakie choróbska, przez długi okres nie mogłem pozbyć się uciążliwego kaszlu oraz gorączki. Nic innego mi nie pozostaje, jak życzyć wszystkim chorym szybkiego powrotu do zdrowia oraz wiosny Pozdrawiam
